Stardust the Super Wizard
Did a quick exercise today just for fun, and drew Fletcher Hanks' Stardust the Super Wizard. I drew him as quickly as I could, then inked with a brush pen. I played with some halftone screens and newsprint textures to try to get a retro/vintage look. I threw this all together in a little over an hour and a half. I'm reasonably pleased with how it turned out, except that Stardust's head is WAY too big. If you aren't familiar with the immortal Stardust the Super Wizard, look HERE and HERE and HERE.
